The Optalytic technology stack is designed as a complete enterprise software suite. Optalytic architects and engineers have years of experience creating systems for financial services organizations, and our technology stack reflects their collective experience, providing a solid foundation for managing a Peer-to-Peer loan investment strategy.
Each layer is exposed through a clean and extensible API, and all entry points are protected by security technology imposing authentication and authorization constraints. For deployment scenarios, the layers can be split to achieve load balancing and failover.
The data loading technology is highly extensible, which
facilitates the customized integration of existing and
future Peer-to-Peer marketplace information. Whether the
marketplace exposes information via XML files, web
services APIs, or through a proprietary standard, the
data loader and parsing technology can make use of
definition files to load, parse and persist data in a
clean normalized format, no matter what the exchange
representation.
Once loaded and parsed, marketplace data is exposed through clean object-oriented interfaces. Classes representing the core data objects common to Peer-to-Peer lending platforms are presented. APIs are provided to handle easy querying, loading and manipulation of the underlying exchange data.
The functional modules make use of the powerful object APIs and provide management, execution and analytic technology. Automated time-based processes run “headless” while web-based and client-based user interfaces are used to manage trading and execution daemon processes and interface with interactive functionality such as reporting and account management. Custom functional modules can be created and “installed” into the platform.

Interaction with elements of the platform is made easy through an interpreted scripting interface connecting to an exposed programmatic API. This API and scripting capability allows for extensibility and connectivity to other systems commonly present in the institutional investment space. The Integration Services stack provides a hook to share data with back-office portfolio management, account, reconciliation, and prime brokerage systems.
